A brief history
Making beautiful leather bags since 2008, the Cambridge satchel company now has a wide range of styles, colours, and accessories to choose from. The designs were originally based of children's school bags, however the style and high quality production quickly gained popularity among adults and in 2010 was featured in London fashion week. The satchel company has also collaborated with many well know brands such as Vivienne Westwood, Brompton and can now be seen toted by celebrities including Taylor swift and lady gaga.

- High quality craftsmanship
Many of the bags feature detachable and adjustable shoulder straps, the hardware and quality of the leather is also very impressive and feels premium. The straps are easy to adjust and feels very secure when worn cross body. The magnetic closures keep the bag firmly shut, but are not to strong making it difficult to open. The reinforced top handle for carrying also feels very sturdy and is comfortable when carried in hand.

Although the pictured bag is not personalised, the website does offer text or symbol personalisation for and extra cost, this can also be requested in store.
Value for money
The quality alone speaks for itself with these bags, the best way to decide on which of the many options is best for you is to go and check out their bags in one of their 3 stores in Edenborough, Cambridge or Covent garden in London. The bags are not cheap, however they are excellent value for money and if well looked after can easily last a lifetime. Products with such longevity are becoming more and more rare in the recent 'fast fashion' world we live in, however Cambridge satchel co. is certainly one of the exceptions to this. Because of this I believe their products to be great value investments.
